Oncolytics Biotech Inc. Appoints Dr. Matt Coffey as Chief Scientific Officer

CALGARY, AB, Dec. 9, 2004 — Oncolytics Biotech Inc. (TSX: ONC, NASDAQ: ONCY) (‘Oncolytics’) today announced that Dr. Matt Coffey has been appointed Chief Scientific Officer (CSO). Dr. Coffey was formerly Vice President of Product Development of Oncolytics.
