On April 19, 2007, SUPERVALU INC. issued a News Release announcing its
financial results for the fiscal period ended February 24, 2007, and raising its
fiscal year 2008 diluted earnings per share guidance. A copy of the News Release
issued by SUPERVALU INC. in connection with this Item 2.02 is attached as
Exhibit 99.1 and incorporated by reference herein.
