On October 21, 2003, Charles & Colvard, Ltd. issued a press release regarding its financial results for its fiscal 2003 third quarter, ended September 30, 2003. A copy of this press release is attached as Exhibit 99.1. Management will host a conference call on Wednesday, October 22, 2003 at 9 a.m. EDT to discuss the financial results as well as recent corporate developments.
