On December 6, 2012, Dooyong Lee notified Acacia Research Corporation (the Company) that he intends to resign from his position as Executive Vice President of the Company, and from any positions held with any subsidiary of the Company, including Acacia Research Group, effective as of December 31, 2012. Mr. Lee is resigning to pursue other interests and not as a result of any disagreement with the Company on any matter relating to the Companys operations, policies or practices.
