Item 2.02 Results of Operations and Financial Condition

On April 29, 2019,  South State Corporation (the “Company”) issued a press release announcing its financial results for the first quarter and three-months ended March 31, 2019, along with certain other financial information.  A copy of the Company’s press release and presentation is attached as Exhibit 99.1 and 99.2 to this report and incorporated herein by reference.
