Item 8.01 Other Events.

The Board of Directors of Ebix, Inc. (the “Company”) has established October 5, 2011, as the record date for determining the shareholders entitled to notice of and to vote at the Annual Meeting of the Company’s Shareholders.

The Annual Meeting will be held on December 2, 2011, at 11:00 AM, Eastern Standard Time, at our Atlanta office, located at Five Concourse Parkway, Atlanta, Georgia, 30328. Proxy materials will be furnished on or about October 21, 2011
