Item 2.02 Results of Operations and Financial Condition.
On January 22, 2008, iRobot Corporation announced its preliminary financial results for the
fiscal quarter and year ended December 29, 2007. A copy of the press release is being furnished as
Exhibit 99.1 to this Report on Form 8-K.

year 2007 financial results after the market closes on February 19, 2008 and conduct a conference
call to discuss these results and outlook for future financial performance the following morning,
