(b) On October 24, 2007 Gunther E. Greiner advised Corn Products International, Inc. (the
“Company”) that for personal reasons he will not be able to stand for re-election when his term as
a Director of the Company expires in May 2008, and that he intends to retire from the Board of
Directors as of the Company’s 2008 Annual Meeting.
