The hospitality complex expansion comes with a $25 million ticket, bringing additional hotel accommodations and events center to the previously acclaimed Doubletree by Hilton, which was noted in the top 10 hotels of 2019 for the Doubletree by Hilton portfolio. The success of this project comes with many compliments from the current GM of Doubletree and operator Prestige Hospitality Group, who partnered with local general contractor ACG North America, Inc.. Furthest from the Doubletree on the complex is the 50,000 s/f events center featuring two hospitality suites, the Century ballroom, a lecture hall, and vast outdoor venue space. The space also provides an underground parking garage, two pedestrian walkways connecting all three properties on the development, and outdoor gathering areas for group accommodations. The space is said to be unmatched in central Connecticut, with updated audio/visual innovations from PowerStation Events. Upon entry into the events center, guests are quickly greeted with an exquisite architectural ceiling installation inside the brightly detailed 2-story atrium. To the right of entry spotlights a breathtaking reception desk with custom focal art mural. Throughout the prefunction space, custom seating is showcased amongst a variety of bar and lounge options for leisure as guests wait to enter the Century ballroom. Elegance is around every corner and the high design is evident. Inside the Century Ballroom, guests are welcomed with a tall expanse featuring warm wooden ceilings, crystal chandeliers, fluted wall details, and unobstructed views to the outside. Next on the complex sits the 93-room Home2 Suites by Hilton hotel. The hotel features extended stay suites with flexible guestroom configurations, porcelain tile flooring, luxury vinyl tile planks, and carpet tile, work-in kitchens, and a variety of in-room amenities. The public space features a lobby with custom banquette with a variety of eclectic seating options, coffee bar, business center print station, grab and go market, low-profile breakfast center as well as a fitness room with laundry center. The design is forward-thinking and fosters a sense of community throughout the colorful furnishings and open space planning.
