New middle grade novel "Fritz Goes to The Ritz" by Donna DellaCamera is released, the charming story of Fritz the dog learning to embrace differences, maintain hope, and dream big

“Fritz Goes to The Ritz” by Donna DellaCamera has been released worldwide. This 80-page middle grade novel, which features illustrations by Kristina Lewis, has achieved Amazon Bestseller status as #1 New Release in “Pets,” #1 New Release in “Dogs,” #1 New Release in “Children’s Dog Books,” #4 Bestseller in “Pets,” and #8 Bestseller in “Children’s Dog Books.”

The story follows a Havachin dog named Fritz on his journey from living in a pet store to finding his forever home. Fritz is not purebred and looks a bit different than the other dogs, which makes it difficult for him to find acceptance. Taunting from other dogs only makes things worse.

Craving acceptance and a family to love, Fritz escapes from the pet store and begins a series of adventures that brings him all the way to New York City, and eventually the iconic Ritz-Carlton hotel! With the help of Mr. Briggs, Fritz meets friendly people in the big city, eventually finding his new mom, Dee Dee Divine!

Based on the real-life Fritz, the author’s dog of the same breed, the story shows the goodness of humanity, the joys of love and acceptance, and the power of perseverance, giving young readers a lovely tour of iconic New York landmarks in the process. The same qualities that Fritz is bullied for make him special – just like NYC – and the heartwarming outcome of his struggles shows that enduring hardships can lead to amazing things.

This tale of encouragement, friendship, and kindness is filled with relatable characters and precious moments, culminating in a powerful message of respecting differences, showing compassion, and weathering difficult times in search of a hopeful future.

Fritz Goes to The Ritz (ISBN: 9781958729649) can be purchased through retailers worldwide, including Barnes and Noble and Amazon. The hardcover retails for $21.95 and the ebook retails for $2.99.
