(NASDAQ:ALPP), a leading operator and owner of small market businesses, is pleased to announce that subsidiaries, Vayu Aerospace Corporation (Vayu) and Global Autonomous Corporation (GAC USA) have been approved by the Dubai Civil Aviation Authority (DCAA) to advance to the next phase of the BVLOS (Beyond Visual Line of Sight) certification process. This significant milestone is the result of comprehensive documentation provided earlier this year, which included showcasing the advanced capabilities of Vayu's G-1 unmanned aerial vehicle. The two companies plan on conducting these tests between November 13th and November 27th, weather permitting.
The BVLOS certification process is a critical step in enabling operations for unmanned aircraft and is paramount in shaping the future of autonomous aviation.
In-person flight testing, a pivotal component of the certification process, will take place at the cutting-edge Silicon Oasis in Dubai. During the testing phase, the two companies will have the opportunity to do extensive demonstrations of the G1 for DCAA officials. This location offers an ideal environment for rigorous testing and evaluation of the G1. The G1 is a flagship product jointly developed by Vayu and GAC USA boasting a state-of-the-art avionics systems and unrivaled flight maneuverability.
