According to market research firm Forrester, software spending worldwide is expected to grow at a compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of 10.3% from 2021 to 2023 – more than two times faster than the rate of spending in other segments of IT. This is the largest decline in quarterly productivity since the third quarter of 1948 (U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics).
