Baron & Budd Representing Family of Victim Involved in Severe Crash in Ohio in Vanderhall 3-Wheel Vehicle

The victim’s Vanderhall vehicle is believed to have been defectively designed and unreasonably dangerous and exposed the vehicle occupants to an unnecessary risk of harm.

Today, the national law firm of Baron & Budd announced it is representing the victim and family of an Ohio teen who was critically injured in a single vehicle crash involving a 2020 Vanderhall Venice 3-wheel vehicle. The victim and his passenger suffered injuries in the crash that occurred on April 23, 2022 on I-275 in Union Township, OH.

The crash occurred when the victim was travelling down a straight roadway and attempted to make a lane change. The Vanderhall oversteered itself and without warning lost control and veered to the right striking a concrete wall. The Vanderhall overturned in the crash and the victim was ejected, suffering devastating injuries.

Based on the ongoing investigation, the Vanderhall vehicle is believed to be unreasonably dangerous and defective in that it lacked electronic stability control, lacked a properly functioning anti-lock brake system (ABS), and was vulnerable to instability and loss of control during foreseeable operator use.

“We want to make sure no one else has to go through what our family is going through right now. We don’t want anyone else to get injured or killed especially when these accidents could have been prevented by Vanderhall,” said a spokesperson for the victim’s family.

Baron & Budd believes that Vanderhall did not adequately warn consumers of the unreasonable risks and dangers associated with this defect and failed to take steps to recall or repair the vehicles.

Several people have been involved in deadly crashes involving the Vanderhall 3-wheel autocycles. In these accidents, the drivers of the Vanderhalls have unexplainably lost control and crashed.

“This case is yet another example of the tragedy that can occur with these dangerous vehicles,” said Baron & Budd attorney, Bryan Green. “We want to hold Vanderhall accountable for blatantly disregarding the safety of consumers by designing, manufacturing, and marketing a defective product that causes unreasonable risks to consumers. We want to stop further injury and death related to these defective vehicles.”

Baron & Budd has represented plaintiffs in some of the most high-profile automobile defect cases. Our attorneys filed the first lawsuit in the Takata Airbag Recall and represented plaintiffs in the Volkswagen Audi Emission Fraud Lawsuit.
