Cambium Learning Group, the education essentials company, announced that Chairman and CEO Ashley Andersen Zantop is a Silver Winner at the Stevie® Awards for Women in Business and the Globee® Awards for Achievement (Women in Business).

Andersen Zantop won a Silver Stevie Award in the Female Executive of the Year category for Business Services at the 21st annual Stevie Awards for Women in Business, which honor the achievements of women executives, entrepreneurs, employees, and the companies they run worldwide. More than 1,500 entries from organizations and individuals in 36 nations and territories were submitted this year for consideration in more than 100 categories.

In further recognition of the impact of her leadership, Andersen Zantop also won a Silver Globee Award in the Woman Executive of the Year category for Business Products and Services at the 17th Annual 2024 Globee Awards for Achievement (Women in Business), which honors women in all industries worldwide who exemplify the values of leadership, innovation and commitment to advancing women in the business world.

“It’s an honor to be recognized by these awards programs that strive to elevate the achievements of hard-working leaders around the world,” said Andersen Zantop. “The real recognition belongs to our teams at Cambium Learning Group. Our leaders and employee community work tirelessly to make a positive impact for the students, educators, and families we serve in K-12 education, while also striving to support and uplift one another. The opportunity to lead these talented teams who recognize that leadership comes in all shapes, sizes, and identities is a privilege.”

With over 25 years of experience in education and a passion for social impact, Andersen Zantop leads Cambium with empathy, tenacity, and allyship, prioritizing equity, inclusion, and recognition in all decision-making and action-planning. Since her appointment to CEO in 2022, Andersen Zantop has fueled the company’s expanding impact by cultivating a purpose-focused culture that helps build highly effective, passionate, diverse teams. Additionally, she formalized the company’s Remote First work model, through which over 90% of Cambium employees work remotely. The initiative has widened the company’s talent pool, fostered a sense of opportunity and belonging, and lifted employees to the next level of excellence.

“Ashley has led our company through a continuously-evolving educational landscape with poise, commitment, and dedication to Cambium’s purpose of ensuring all teachers and students feel seen, valued and supported,” said Kemi Akinsanya-Rose, Chief Operating Officer of Cambium Learning. “Under her leadership, Cambium continues to innovate and make a meaningful impact on the K-12 communities it serves.”
