The IAIABC has recognized Melissa Coleman as a 2024 NextGen Award Winner. Coleman is the Senior Vice President of Marketing for Ametros, which helps people manage their medical funds following workers’ compensation or liability settlements.

The IAIABC NextGen Awards recognize talented and transformative professionals under the age of 40 who are making positive impacts in their organizations and in the workers’ compensation industry.

Coleman has led marketing communications for Ametros since its inception, building its reputation as the leader in professional administration in workers’ compensation. “We are incredibly proud of Melissa’s accomplishments both here at Ametros and in the broader workers’ compensation community,” said Ametros CEO Porter Leslie. “We appreciate the IAIABC recognizing her many talents and efforts to continually improve the industry.”

Coleman is active in the Alliance of Women in Workers’ Compensation, serving on its Marketing Committee and as its Massachusetts Ambassador, and is a member of Chief. In addition, she is a Founding Member of the Transitions Movement, dedicated to helping the workers’ compensation industry think strategically about how to manage the influx and outflux of talent.

A Section 4 Certified Strategist, Coleman is a graduate of Boston’s Simmons College, where she was a member of the Beta Gamma Sigma honor society.

Coleman joins five other recipients of the award this year and will speak at the IAIABC 110^th Convention this fall.
