W. Scott Groner, Founder of Atlantic505 Consulting was recently selected as Top Pharmaceutical Consultant of the Year by the International Association of Top Professionals (IAOTP) for his outstanding leadership, dedication, and commitment to the industry.
Inclusion with the International Association of Top Professionals is an honor in itself; only a few members in each discipline are chosen for this distinction. These special honorees are distinguished based on their professional accomplishments, academic achievements, leadership abilities, longevity in the field, other affiliations, and contributions to their communities. All Honorees are invited to attend the IAOTP annual award gala at the end of this year for a night to honor their achievements.
With over three decades of experience, Mr. Groner is the Founder of Atlantic505 Consulting. He is experienced in Regulatory Affairs and Quality Assurance whose style is a combination of planning and teaching to personnel and management in FDA regulations. He provides consultation, development or review for: 505(b) or 505(j) Submission, product manufacturing changes & supplement submission type, product complaints & pharmacovigilance program, SOP development for R&D & Manufacturing, and GMP assessment of quality systems, due diligences, and PAI Readiness. He also provides independent PQA (product quality assessment) and CEP (compliance enhancement plan) reports for the FDA District Office. Currently, Mr. Groner is supporting oncology NDA submission activities and compliance advice.
Before starting his own consulting company, Mr. Groner worked as the head of regulatory affairs and compliance for Tris Pharma, Inc. and as the associate director of regulatory affairs and quality assurance for Kali Laboratories Inc. Early on in his career, he gained experience in the field through varying positions with Duramed Pharmaceuticals, Warner-Lambert, and Exxon Corporate Research.
Prior to his career, Mr. Groner earned his Bachelor’s Degree in Chemistry in 1990 from Western New England College, continued his studies toward a Master’s in Analytical Chemistry from Ruthers State University.
Throughout his illustrious career, Mr. Groner has received many awards and accolades and has been recognized worldwide for his accomplishments. This year, Mr. Groner was featured in Fortune Magazine for his recognition in The Nation’s Top Professionals as well as The Albert Nelson Lifetime Achievement Award from Marquis Who’s Who. Last year, Mr. Groner was and Honoree from Marquis Who’s Who as well. This year, he will be considered for a feature in TIP (Top Industry Professionals) Magazine. He will be honored at IAOTP's annual awards gala at Gaylord Opryland Resort in Nashville this December for his selection as Top Pharmaceutical Consultant of the Year.
