Sieber Plastic Surgery in San Francisco, CA, Has Been Hand-Selected to Be One of the First Practices in the United States to Now Offer DAXXIFY™.

San Francisco, California, United States - 01-11-2023 (PR Distribution™) -

DAXXIFY™, a New FDA-Approved Neuromodulator for Treating Frown Lines on the Face, Has Been Shown to Last Up to Twice as Long as BOTOX®.

San Francisco, CA —
Dr. David Sieber and his aesthetic injectors, Sally Sherrard PA-C and Armeen Karia FNP, are widely known throughout the San Francisco Bay Area for the fantastic results they achieve for their patients. In addition, Dr. Sieber, Sally, and Armeen are lauded for their extensive training, dedication to patient safety and education, and attention to detail.

Throughout Dr. Sieber’s education and career, one of his passions has been staying current with leading advancements in cosmetic surgery. With careful research and testing, Dr. Sieber’s practice selects only the best scientifically proven treatments to add to their procedure offerings. Recently, Sieber Plastic Surgery in the San Francisco Bay Area was hand-selected by Revance Aesthetics to be one of only two practices in San Francisco to offer the newly FDA-approved DAXXIFY™ as a treatment for wrinkles on the face — particularly frown lines.

After extensive review and deliberation with leading experts in his field, Dr. Sieber and his team of experienced aesthetic injectors have decided that DAXXIFY™ could fill an in-demand need for their patients. That is, it could provide a longer-lasting alternative to BOTOX®, which — although highly effective — tends to last only one or two months for most patients.

About DAXXIFY™ in San Francisco

DAXXIFY™ (DaxibotulinumtoxinA-lanm) is an injectable developed by Revance. It was recently reviewed and approved by the FDA. DAXXIFY™ is a neuromodulator and the very first (and only) peptide-formulated neuromodulator.

Much like BOTOX®, it has the ability to smooth facial wrinkles in adults, giving patients a more youthful, fresh appearance. However, the core difference between DAXXIFY™ and BOTOX® is that DAXXIFY™ has been shown to last up to two times as long as BOTOX® in clinical trials. According to the results of these trials, 80% of participants were free from severe wrinkles for four months. Approximately 50% of the participants were wrinkle-free for six months.

This increase in longevity is a huge advantage for regular BOTOX® patients, who often lament the short duration of the effects of BOTOX®. Whereas BOTOX® generally lasts just one to two months before it starts to fade, DAXXIFY™ has been shown to last one to two months longer than this. It was after the presentation of the aforementioned studies that the US FDA (United States Food and Drug Administration) recently approved the product.

It’s worth noting here that DAXXIFY™ is nearly identical to BOTOX® in all other ways aside from longevity. It uses the same class of active ingredient and is delivered by injection just like BOTOX®.

DAXXIFY™ is a product developed by Revance, a biotechnology company focused on innovative aesthetic and therapeutic offerings. According to Revance, DAXXIFY™ “is the first true innovation in neuromodulator product formulation in over 30 years.”
