Scientist who simulated the global impact of a coronavirus outbreak says ‘the cat’s already out of the bag’ and China’s efforts to contain the disease ‘unlikely to be effective’

Dr. Eric Toner is a scientist at the Johns Hopkins Center for Health Security and was a part of a simulation, in partnership with the World Economic Forum, that such a disease could kill 65 million people. within 18 months.
