2021 BreyerFest Celebration Horse, Dani the Wonder Horse, Stays Picture Perfect with Zarasyl Equine Barrier Cream

By: PRLog

WELLINGTON, Fla. - July 26, 2021 - PRLog -- Zarasyl is proud to sponsor the 2021 BreyerFest Celebration Horse, Dani the Wonder Horse and her rider, Laura Reece of Palm Beach Sport Horses. In honor of her title, we decided to dig deeper into what's next for this loveable Appaloosa.

If you've noticed an additional splash of color in the hunter/jumper world lately, you're not alone. At 17 hands tall, eight-year-old Dani the Wonder Horse and Laura have been making a name for themselves in the show ring. With articles in The Chronicle of the Horse, Horse & Style Magazine, and Equine America, Dani the Wonder Horse's bright spots and bold stature have caught the attention of not only fans and judges, but the head honchos over at Breyer as well. Dani has the honor of being the 2021 BreyerFest Celebration Horse and perfectly matches this year's theme "Horse of a Different Color."

Dani is no stranger to the spotlight. With a successful modeling career for various equine photographers and a shining career in the show ring, all eyes have been on this Leopard Appaloosa/Friesian cross for the last few years. Showing under her official name, Danash's Northern Tempest, she won champion in the ESP two-foot division at the Palm Beach Equestrian Center over this past winter and even took a few junior riders to high placings in the medal classes. Laura hopes to take her in more derby classes and focus on the equitation ring. Future goals also include taking her outside of Wellington and diversifying her riders. "Dani isn't a one person horse, she's always loved having a variety of riders."

Laura's favorite thing about Dani: how secure and confident she makes her feel while riding. "I like the way she's built and the uphill ride she offers. I feel very secure on her, and she's pretty much bombproof. She doesn't care about dogs, golf carts, motorcycles."

As Dani comes into her prime, Laura and her trainer are prioritizing her health and soundness above all else. It's important she stays happy, healthy and glowing. But like any horse, Dani occasionally comes in from turnout with minor abrasions and scrapes. Thanks to Zarasyl Equine Barrier Cream, these minor issues have resolved without issue. Laura says that she uses Zarasyl on "any nicks, cuts, and scrapes as soon as they're noticed. I used to use a silver spray or antibiotic cream, but I've traded it out for Zarasyl and seen great results."

Congratulations to Dani and Laura from all of us at Zarasyl on becoming the 2021 BreyerFest Celebration Horse! Find Dani on Instagram @danithewonderhorse.
