WEC Energy names next CEO, Klappa remains executive chair

Gale Klappa will continue serving as executive chairman at Wisconsin’s largest public utility company WEC Energy Group until May 2024 while CEO Kevin Fletcher will retire in February 2022 and be replaced by chief operating officer Scott Lauber.
