L’Essence des Notes the new french fragrance brand

By: Get News

After discovering the French perfumery brand L’Essence des Notes on social networks, we want to learn more about who is behind it. It was then that the designer of the house, Mme Huong Mangin, agreed to answer our questions. Enter the universe of L’Essence des Notes below.

1, Can you present L’Essence des Notes?

L’Essence des Notes was born in Grasse, in Provence, the world capital of perfumery. Master perfumers use their expert knowledge of French perfumery to develop our fragrances with natural essences made from flowers, citrus fruits, wood and spices in rich and subtle worlds where freshness and intensity are mixed.

2, Where does the brand name come from? What does it mean?

“Essence” means Natural Essence and the concentration of the materials that constitute perfumes. “Notes” means the composition of perfume notes (top note, heart note and base note) like a score of musical notes.

3, When was the company founded?

The company was founded in 2009.

4, What is your background and values?

I worked for 15 years in a pharmaceutical and dermocosmetic laboratory and 10 years in the field of luxury perfumery. I learned to work on the quality and safety of the products with severity, which is why our fragrances are created with these same requirements for consumers.

5, What is the brand’s slogan?

A line of perfumes of quality, naturalness and safety.

6, What are your inspirations?

The inspiration was born thanks to numerous meetings with the creators of major perfume brands. The desire to create a perfume brand had already been in my head for a long time. I draw on my olfactory memories of my childhood in Laos, where the rose, jasmine and frangipani flowers diffuse their subtle scent at sunset on the Mekong. I also have a deep memory of the numerous colors of the fruits, flowers and spices that supply the markets of my hometown. This was what drove me to create a range of perfumes with the master perfumers.

7, Where are the perfumes made?

The creation and manufacture of the perfume extracts take place in Grasse, the cradle of French high perfumery, and the final manufacture is in the adjoining region of Provence.

8, What is the method of sale?

In France and overseas, in pharmacies, apothecaries, as well as online to business and individual clients.

9, Who are your clients? What are their profiles?

We have a diverse group of clients, both men and women of all ages.

10, What are your best sellers?

Our best sellers are Pamplemousse & Basilic,Vétiver & Patchouli, Coriandre & Bois de Cèdre, and Cardamome & Embruns.

11, What is your commitment to customers in terms of quality and service?

All our fragrances are tested by an independent IDEA laboratory for skin allergies (skin compatibility), phototoxic potential and human health safety.

12, What makes you different from your competitors on the market?

Everyone finds their signature scent in our perfumes because they cover all of the olfactory families. And more than 95 percent of our perfumes are naturel. Among these 95 percent naturel ingredient, up to 92% of them come directly from the nature. We can also point out that each fragrance includes essential oils as well as alcohol of natural origin.

13, What are your current or future projects?

A new line of perfumes is going to be launched next year, inspired by and created to promote travel and cultural exchange between France and China.
