BUFFALO, N.Y. - January 21, 2022 - (Newswire.com)

Buffalo, NY-headquartered 716 Realty Group WNY has acquired East Aurora, NY-based Black Willow Real Estate owned by principal broker James A. Bodecker II. Financial terms of the deal are undisclosed.

Jim will be named to the role of President at 716 Realty Group WNY. Along with his team of real estate professionals, they will continue to work out of the East Aurora office under the 716 flag. Jim's areas of focus will be agent recruitment, mergers & acquisitions, joint ventures, & real estate development.

"Black Willow has grown significantly in recent years. Jim brings tremendous knowledge to the firm. Along with a large commercial client base, Jim has significant knowledge of real estate development, most notably renewable energy projects around WNY with National Energy Development, LLC, a firm he co-founded in 2019. His team and experience will help to add to the growing lineup of services the firm can offer our community," says Gregory Straus, Chief Executive Officer and Owner.

Jim added, "I look forward to the opportunity to work with Gregory and the incredible company he has built. His systems are cutting edge and he has outstanding people around him, which is what truly attracted me to this opportunity. It's no surprise that he's built a top real estate brokerage in WNY. I look forward to helping it continue to grow for many years to come by building the organization with more of WNY's top real estate agents servicing our growing list of clients across our six locations."

716 Realty Group WNY finished 2021 with 336 sides (representing sellers or buyers) and more than $80 million in transactions. Black Willow reported 20 sides and $5 million in residential transactions last year.

With the deal, 716 Realty Group WNY will have offices in North Buffalo, Seneca One Tower, Williamsville, Grand Island, Orchard Park and East Aurora.
