First Ever Hemp Food NFT, Minted in 2021, Now Available to the Public on the Wax Blockchain

Colorado Based, Woman Owned Hemp Food Company Pioneers Decentralized Self-Funding with NFT Series: after Kickstarter Kicked Her Out.

ANAHEIM, Calif. - March 6, 2022 - PRLog -- Faced with the tough decision on how to further expand her business, Chef Carla Boyd decided to stand out by releasing the first ever Hemp Food NFT series. Hemp Way Foods proudly marks history as the first ever Hemp Food NFT by releasing a fan-favorite recipe, Hemp Hummus, debuting to the public, hours before several food companies intend to launch their own NFTs at ExpoWest. Hemp Way Foods National Sales and Branding Manager Marsia Yencsko will be on the show floor of Expo West to schedule appointments for distribution, buyers and alternative investment opportunities, including this first of its kind NFT series.

"We were the first to mint a hemp food NFT, and we are very proud of this. Our team waited until the right time to share it with the world, and that time is now. Our Hemp Way Foods Team couldn't think of a better time as all eyes turn to ExpoWest for the latest and greatest advances in the food world," comments Hemp Way Foods Publicist Emalee Hyde.

Chef Carla Boyd began looking at unique self funding options in mid 2021. Initially, she and her team hoped the combination of NFTs and using the platform Kickstarter would be just the dynamic combination Hemp Way Foods needed to take their company into a national distribution expansion. Unfortunately, in direct response to Kickstarter not allowing NFTs on their platform, Chef Carla Boyd and her team had to regroup and reorganize their funding plans. The answer was almost immediately clear; Kick Kickstarter to the curb to focus solely on decentralized funding options via an NFT series, hosted on the Wax Blockchain.

Despite a plan pivot, Hemp Way Foods was still able to capitalize on minting the first ever Hemp Food NFT in 2021. Chef Carla Boyd successfully wrote herself into history as the first ever Hemp Food NFT. Now, the first Hemp Way Foods NFT series will feature 3D coins, one of a kind recipes and exclusive future NFT offers made available only to people who have purchased a Hemp Way Foods NFT.  Chef Carla Boyd marks eight years of regional success with her sight toward national expansion.

"These NFTs are as much symbolic as they are valuable due to Kickstarter's rejection to host NFTs on its platform,"  commented Chef Carla Boyd. "Each NFT purchased will not only secure each owner a place in the emerging Food Metaverse as first wave adopters to a first of its kind NFT but also each NFT will support our National expansion into retailers and restaurants coast to coast. We believe in the power of the decentralized community to effectively change the course of history. We are humbly asking for their support in this self funding strategy."
