Allegro Music & Dance Academy and Tim Veurink are pleased to announce that the Chicago Music and Dance academy has re-started in-person lessons while ensuring that COVIOD-19 protocols are in place. The performing arts studio is focused on inspiring the creativity of the future through theatre, dance, and music. For decades, the academy instructors have been teaching youngsters to express themselves through dance and music. Private and semi-private lessons are available for students at all knowledge levels. Choosing the right studio for education in performing arts is a matter of making an informed decision.
Dance lessons are available to teach fun dancing styles. The dance classes are available in Lockport and Lemont. The instructors are recognized for their skill in teaching a variety of learning tastes and styles. The students who participate in the Allegro Musical Theatre Shows enjoy the experience of performing in shows such as Annie, Despicable Me, Madagascar, Finding Nemo, and The Wizard of OZ.

The story of the studio has beginnings as far back as 1961 with the launch of a music store in Lockport. The store was purchased in 1991 by Tim Veurink. A decade later, Tim partnered with a local piano teacher, Lori Gardner, to start a performing arts academy nearby Lemont. The academy added
Bolingbrook for its 3rd location. Today, the music lessons are popular in all three studios and the dance studio is thriving in Lockport and Lemont studios.
The goals of Allegro have remained the same. The academy wants to teach dance, music, and other performing arts to everyone. The Academy is meant to be a welcoming place where performing arts students can meet, study, perfect their craft, hang out, and then perform onstage for their many fans.
