Educational Services & Consulting (ESC) Unveils Comprehensive Blog Post on Fireworks Safety

By: PRLog

ESC outlines safety tips to avoid an insurance claim involving fireworks.

CLERMONT, Fla. - July 3, 2024 - PRLog -- Educational Services & Consulting (ESC) is proud to announce the release of their newest blog post, "Essential Fireworks Tips from Accredited Claims Adjusters," highlighting tips and resources to prevent firework-related accidents as the Fourth of July holiday approaches.

The blog post details various recommendations from accredited claims adjusters who have evaluated personal and property damages caused by fireworks.

"Fireworks are a popular tradition for Fourth of July celebrations," ESC's Co-Owner and Chief Strategy Officer, Natalie Zimmerman said. "However, they bring inherent risks, including accidents, injuries, and potential insurance claims. Accredited claims adjusters play a critical role in evaluating and processing insurance claims related to firework accidents. By understanding and promoting firework safety, we can help reduce the incidence of firework-related injuries and property damage."

Fireworks can cause a range of accidents, from minor burns and eye injuries to severe trauma and significant property damage. Accredited claims adjusters are aware of these risks, enabling them to evaluate claims accurately and advise policyholders effectively.

If you plan to use fireworks to celebrate the Fourth of July or any other holiday this year, the blog from ESC highlights the top three safety tips including:

1. Handling "Dud" Fireworks: If a firework fails to ignite, do not attempt to relight it. Wait at least 20 minutes, then soak it in water before proper disposal.

2. Safe Environment for Displays: Use fireworks in open areas with a clear landing zone, away from flammable materials.

3. Fire Extinguishers and First Aid Kits: Have a fire extinguisher and a first aid kit nearby when using fireworks to prevent minor injuries from becoming severe.

ESC offers the 6-20 Accredited claims adjuster designation course.  This 40-hour online  training is a self paced program and is flexible for the working person.  ESC's newest blog emphasizes the importance of accurate and fair claim processing, helping homeowners receive appropriate compensation while adhering to insurer guidelines. Accredited adjusters' excellent communication and negotiation skills facilitate clear understanding and cooperation throughout the claims process.

In Florida, once individuals earn their 6-20 accredited claims adjuster designation, they can apply to the state for their all-lines adjuster license. This will enable candidates to work on home insurance claims, auto and RV insurance claims and property insurance claims. Candidates would have the flexibility to work as a staff claims adjuster or an independent insurance adjuster.
