The company’s adjusted operating income came in at $411.40 million and $2.16 per share for the quarter, reflecting growths of 0.6% and 4.8% from the prior year’s quarter, respectively.

The company updated its full-year 2024 outlook for after-tax adjusted operating income per share from 7% to 9%, which now has been raised to 10% to 15%.

Street expects UNM’s EPS for the third quarter (ending September 2024) to increase 4.4% year-over-year to $2.02 and its revenue for the ongoing quarter is expected to grow 4.5% year-over-year to $3.26 billion.
