Following the announcement, Pilloo customers can design high-quality custom-shaped pillows featuring prints of their favourite animals. The pillows are made using a combination of polyester and soft velvet, so they remain durable and fluffy through extended use.

As part of the update, Pilloo is giving customers the choice between four sizes of pillows to customize. “Our Small (16”) and Medium (24”) options are suited for kids who want something to hug and cuddle with,” said a spokesperson for the company. “Our Large (32”) and Life-Size (60”) options, on the other hand, typically work better as decorative pieces.”
To customize the pillows, customers simply need to upload a photo of the animal they want printed on the pillow to Pilloo’s online design tool. From there, a mock-up of the pillow is generated that they can edit and adjust until they are satisfied and ready to submit their order.
In terms of shape, each pillow is cut and sewn to match the unique outline of the animal depicted in the photo. Pilloo does this by taking the customer’s image and removing the background so that only the subject remains. This method ensures that customers get a one-of-a-kind piece that will never be reproduced.
In addition to being fully customizable, all of the pillows are hypoallergenic, anti-microbial, and non-toxic, making them safe for both children and pets to be around. The pillows can also be machine-washed numerous times without losing their colour, stitching, or shape.
The custom-shaped pillows are a suitable gift for veterinarians, zoologists, and animal lovers. They’re also an effective way of fostering and nurturing any interest that children may have in animals.
