Calvetta Phair Celebrates HERstory for Black History Month by Living in FAITH!

By: PRLog

Ms. Phair shares HERstory of business challenges and how they are overcome by Faith when 'Going Through the Process'! Knowing that when experiencing a drought season, know the rain will come. Just be ready with the big pots to catch the rain for the overflow. Calvetta Phair - Mother, GlamMa, Business Owner, Inventor, and Tech-Equity Community Activist has lived the life of a serial entrepreneur.

MIAMI - Feb. 25, 2024 - PRLog -- Ms. Phair began to carve out her entrepreneurial niche at 11 years of age.  She posted an ad in her local newspaper that read, "7th Grader Seeking Work."  Thus, she was immediately hired by a used book store owner making $7.00 per day by working after school. Studying with great interest Famous Philosophers / Astronomer, Mathematics and Computer Science, Ms. Phair wanted to earn a STEM degree that very few Blacks majored in.

Born and raised in Seattle, WA, by a single Mother and the eldest of two Sisters, Ms. Phair was nurtured with strong family and spiritual values. Growing up in Seattle's public housing units (where she not only learned about her Black roots from her family), but from the 'Black Panther Party Seattle Chapter' that provided classes for all students at the housing units community center.

'I AM BLESSED to know the history of my Black roots and to understand the entrepreneurial drive in me.', states Ms. Phair. 'My maternal Grandmother who had 7 live births, had difficulty with the 12 birth to her son. My Grandmother (and son) died while giving birth, due to not being allowed admittance to the hospital because of her skin color. I too had complications during the birth of my daughter and my Grandfather (who had not stepped foot in a hospital since his wife's death), was with me during my pregnancy and with me during the birth of my daughter. My OBG Doctor at the time was White and his wife was Black, always said "he understood", when my Grandfather assisted on attending every prenatal visit with me and wanting to be in the delivery room. My Husband (who is now in heaven), had strong Black Family values and knowledge of his Black roots. My Father still own the 'Slave House' my Great-Grandfather lived in as a slave, and I have a copy (when released by law), the handwritten census which my Great-Grandfather is listed as a 'house boy'.', states Ms. Phair.

Fast forward, Ms. Phair's business experience and contract awards brought her to the State of Florida. Any business or personal challenge, was overcome by Ms. Phair's Faith, Favor and 'Walk with Grace'.  Ms. Phair's belief in 'seeding' and passion in 'Tech-Equity for All', has allowed her to Mentor other business owners and help those under-served receive free job/career resources and work on 'Bridging the Digital Divide'. 'In 2013, I became homeless and not knowing anyone in Florida, I met an Executive for the NBA while donating my closes to downsize for storage. He provided me a safe and beautiful place to stay at no cost for 6 months. It was through that experience, (and many more), that I learned of Humility and Grace, and the true experience of God's Favor on MY LIFE. The seeds we sow may not come from those we seed into; but know that by Faith, our seeds will BLESS US at the right time and when WE NEED IT!', states Ms. Phair. Ms. Phair's walk is not about her, and only to assist those under-served, overlooked and pushed aside.

Ms. Phair's primary business America's Workforce Solution, LLC is an SBA 8(a), EDWOSB, WBENC/WOSB firm that provides Staffing Services for the corporate and federal sectors. 'When I had to write my SBA 8(a) social disadvantage narrative, I was in tears for days due to the reality of the discrimination and biases I experienced, and how it had affected me personally and with my business', states Ms. Phair.  'I don't have an option to quit now. I'm on a mission to build a legacy, and break generational past and future curses.', states Ms. Phair.

America's Workforce Solution, LLC powers Ms. Phair's philanthropic organization – The On It Foundation, National 501(c)(3) which celebrates 25 years of service providing free computers and STEM/STEAM education to K-12 students and their families within the United States; and ReferAll, Ms. Phair's new AI staffing application that streamlines the recruitment and hiring process. 'My Grandfather was my Greatest hero and lived a blessed life until his homecoming at age 104. Born in Georgia, I housed my new invention location in the State of Georgia to honor my Grandfather's Black roots. In growth, building and serving, I wouldn't change anything. It's the PROCESS, and many don't understand it. But 'it' has made me the 'BEST WOMAN KINGDOM LEADER', I can be!', states Ms. Phair.
